I was at those Roanoke shows - what a blast. Cops actually telling us at door of arena that they were going to have to frisk us before we went in and that if we had anything we wanted to take back to the car, we should do it now. So we went to another door. Quite a contrast to the Philly Dead/Dylan/Abbie Hoffman show a few days later...
